Connecting the Dots
This is an annual one-day of service and events for the under employed or unemployed families in our community. The event includes keynote speakers, workshops and vendor booths concerning finding jobs, affordable housing options, childcare, education, and training opportunities. This event is in partnership with the City of Rock Hill and BELL of Rock Hill.
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
United Way partners with the National Letter Carriers' Association annually to collect food items placed at mailboxes by residents. Items are distributed to local food pantries that are in need of re-stocking their shelves during critical summer months. This year's event is Saturday, May 11.
This collaborative Holiday Assistance program provides toys to local children ages birth to 14 years old during the holiday season. This program is in partnership with WRHI's Toys for Happiness and The Herald's Empty Stocking Fund.
