The health and safety of our community is our top priority. We are monitoring the situation closely and staying in regular contact with federal agencies, health organizations, and local agencies. Below is a list of resources to help keep you informed.

Food

  • Rock Hill School District - offering a grab and go breakfast 8 to 10 a.m. and lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for students 18 years of age and younger at the following locations: Belleview Elementary, Finley Road Elementary, Richmond Drive Elementary, Oakdale Elementary, and Rosewood Elementary. * Students who receive food assistance through the district’s Back the Pack program will continue to receive bags each Friday during the closure. The have also created a quick reference guide identifying resources.

  • Rock Hill School District - grab and go meal service in seven community locations on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the community sites. At each location, meals will be distributed from a Wi-Fi equipped school bus at each location. Students at each site will be able to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots as needed to work on eLearning assignments. Community sites - College Downs Park, Boyd Hill Park, Friedheim Park, Southland Park, Confederate Park, Arcade Victoria Park, and Catawba Indian Reservation Long House

  • Clover School District - a breakfast and lunch combination meal is being served daily in a drive-through format out of the Clover High School cafeteria between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A parent or student driver may pick up meals for each school-aged child in the family. Beginning Wednesday, the district will be delivering meals to the designated bus drop off sites between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • York School District - starting March 18th, meals will be delivered to students via bus routes. Additional information will be provided regarding bus stops and estimated delivery times: www.york.k12.sc.us/
  • Fort Mill School District - will provide breakfast and lunch free of charge during the duration of the school closure to families in need. For full details: www.fortmillschools.org/news/what_s_new/emergency_meal_program

  • PATH in York - providing drive-in food distribution for families by appointment only. Those in need can pull in at their appointed time and receive their food without having to get out of the car. Appointments are available on Mondays and Fridays between 9 am and noon and on Wednesdays between 2 pm and 5 pm.  Those seeking assistance can call 803-684-3992 for their appointment at any time, day or night.

  • McDonalds Restaurant at 1785 Mt. Gallant Rd in Rock Hill - will offer a free lunch to children 12 years old and under. This free lunch offer will consist of the following: student choice of one plain hamburger, plain cheeseburger or 4pc McNugget, one small fry or Apple Slices. This offer will be valid weekdays, Monday-Friday, 11am-1pm, until March 27 (or until school reopens). Student must be present to receive the free lunch. We ask that parents utilize the Drive-Thru to place these orders. At the Drive-Thru speaker, please inform the order taker that the lunch is for a student.

  • Pilgrims’ Inn Emergency Assistance pantry - now closed until further notice

  • Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen - temporarily closed

  • HOPE of Rock Hill - serving food from 9:00 - 10:30 AM Monday - Thursday. Please visit www.hopeofrockhill.com or HOPE of Rock Hill on Facebook for more information.

  • Adult Enrichment Centers - providing virtual support for people with disabilities and virtual/phone support to caregivers of seniors or someone with dementia: www.adultenrichmentcenters.org/
