Thank you for your support, York County!

We appreciate your assistance in making your local United Way successful in changing lives here in York County.

Each year, our local United Way's Community Campaign works to bring together people across York County in giving financial contributions to improve lives in our community. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we raised more than $1.6 million through the Community Campaign in 2008-09!

When you give to United Way, your gift is combined with the gifts of others and is invested in York County based programs. Last year, 40 trained volunteers reviewed agency funding requests to determine where your dollars were needed and could do the most good. These allocations volunteers recommended funding for 35 partner agencies here in York County.

Additional funding supported United Way's 2-1-1 information hotline, free FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards for the uninsured, the warming centers for men and women& children and promotion of free tax preparation sites.
